DESCRIPTION

1/1 is an annual artist book made of works by studio366 members. each annual will feature pairings of one photographer’s image to one author’s written submission. no prompts or themes will be given as creative intent will rely solely on each studio366 member. pairings will be finalized by studio366 editors who will initially review each image and written submission at face value. if studio366 editors require additional guidance to create a pairing, studio366 editors will refer to the respective member’s artist statement.

additionally, a reception will be organized to promote the release of the annual, to provide meet & greet opportunities, and will be supplemented with a curated installation featuring select images and submissions.

SUBMISSION

this project is open for studio366 members under the “developer” level and are allotted one (1) submission per month.

all submissions made before 2023 06 june will be reviewed and considered for vol. 01.

by submitting to a studio366 project, you are authorizing studio366 to display, print, and distribute in any manner any images and/or written material that are part of your submission to conduct and promote projects led by studio366. each studio366 member retains copyright of his or her images and/or written material, and proper credit lines will always be attributed to each studio366 member when used in promotions by studio366.

• photographers

  • complete the “1/1” submission form.

  • email 1 - 5 images to hi.studio366@gmail.com with the subject titled with your last name, first name, and the submission month.

  • images saved as jpeg with the longest side at 1800 px. max size 5mb.

    • higher resolution images will be asked at a later date.

    • image naming convention to be followed as: LastName_FirstInitial_SubmissionMonth_ImageNumber (Jonson_M_September_01)

• authors

• complete the “1/1” submission form.

• email your written submission as a PDF to hi.studio366@gmail.com with the subject titled with your last name, first name, and the submission month.

• PDFs should only contain the written submission

  • maximum three (3) words

  • layout should be completed as you would like it to be printed

  • PDF naming convention to be followed as: LastName_FirstInitial_SubmissionMonth_Title (Jonson_M_September_All the Rage)
